2 Killed In North Hollywood Gun Battle

I live on that street - I was not allowed to go back t the house until 10:30PM... they cleared the crime scene this morning..

"WOW"..living here in the Valley has been an adventure.. MULTI-cultured,colored, I 2 have family in LAW ENFORCEMENT 4 the CITY of L.A,incldng my little sister, who patrolled my own neighborhood & witnessed the INFAMOUS NOHO BofA Banking shooting!!!
BUT, NOTHING CAN PREPARE U for the SOUNDS of GUN SHOOTS,nor SIRENS..Howling in the early evening!!
& realizing that it's your neighborhood thats being barricaded, & the route Ur husband takes 2 get coffee,& U frequent every morning 2 take Ur girls 2 school.. is now a "CRIME SCENE"!!!!
Over the years I often made comments 2 my husband,about suspicious activities & CHARACTERS in the area (OXNARD & WHITTSETT),even joking that it's probably the "MAFIA", sounds paranoid, I know... but after last night.."I'll B dammed if my GUTT instinct didn't bring me 2 my KNEES"

this is sad....what have our streets become... I pass by this area everyday and have family and riends who live there...

Comment on the facts, not an assumption. Please leave the minority race ARMENIAN out of the topic. Amot dzez. People have left no shame within themselves, thats why the world has become what it has.

I am just amazed what this world has come to when people don't care anymore. People's lives are being lost left and right. My prayers go to the families who lost their loved ones.

Oh and Valley Girl don't judge anyone if you don't want to be judged alright? Last time i checked the only one who would be doing the judging is God so next time you should think before you express your thoughts and don't judge the whole culture,because I am sure each culture has both bad and good sides. And don't think i defending about what happened that's nothing to be proud of.

My dad owns a hair salon right across the shopping center of where the incidant occured. Sadly, both my mom and grandma were at the salon when the shooting started. They were extremely frightened and ran towards the back of the salon to avoid possible flying bullets through their window. I am very upset about the whole situation. I know one of the guys who died because I went to high school with his sister. He was married and had a child, which is so sad. What makes me wonder is...Why would a married man with a family get involved in conflicts like this? I dont want to judge the person or the situation, but I feel like people need to get their priorities straight.

I wonder which it is this time, a female or money?

No one said anything about the mafia being Armenian, but considering the cars being impounded were Range Rovers and Infitis and the place where the shooting started was in an Armenian restaurant and the location is where several AP gang members hang out, I'd bet that it was something related to AP or the mafia. You're the one sounding like an idiot, Andy. And making threats against someone is inappropriate. You shouldn't even be posting on here.

Interesting how Valley Village girl didn't say a WORD about Armenians, but the Armenians are jumping all over this. as a matter of fact, in the other blog or wutever its called about the same article, she implied the "ARMENIAN MAFIA" had something to do with it.
