San Pedro temple hits the pause button on plans to host homeless overnight parking

The West LA Veterans Affairs campus offers a Safe Parking program for homeless people who live in their vehicles. Amid neighborhood complaints that brought about 20 demonstrators out before Shabbat services Friday night, Oct. 19, Temple Beth-El in San Pedro has put a hold on plans to host overnight parking for the homeless in the building's parking lot.
