Becoming a community within Seal Beach or Los Alamitos would seem to make the most sense and be the most efficient. It's a shame that isn't an option.
I don't claim any expertise, just makes sense to me.

Not the point, I know, but how do they afford $900,000 homes on a $100,000 income?

Oh wonderful. Some jerkoff from LB. Just what we need someone from tax happy LA county running my community. LB is a crappy liberal town in which failed policies continue to this day.

Rosmoor sounds like they got it going on over there. Signal Hill also has their act together.
Perhaps we should break down Long Beach into 10 different cities. That would eliminate the grifters acting as politicians who are attracted to the open swaths of stupidity in Long Beach as it is, and encourage people with direct interests in their own community to run their shows as they see fit.
Just like Rosmoor.
The money we would save in political graft alone would be staggering.
