State education chief will give lecture at USM
Hank Bounds, Mississippi's superintendent of education, will be the featured speaker for the Issues + Answers lecture at 7 p.m. April 3 in the auditorium of the Advanced Education Center on the Gulf Park campus of the University of Southern Mississippi, Long Beach.
The lecture, presented by the Sun Herald and the Southern Mississippi College of Education and Psychology, will address the accomplishments and challenges facing public education in Mississippi. All Issues + Answers lectures are free and open to the public. Read more
