A 6-month-old girl was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene of a fire that possibly ignited in an air conditioner before causing extensive damage to a King Avenue home in Lore City Saturday evening.

A workshop at a New Gottengen Road property was destroyed by fire Thursday evening and a nearby home sustained minor damage in the blaze.
