Longs woman dies in Tuesday morning wreck on Hwy. 905
Chaquesha Nitesha Davis, 27, of Freemont Road in Longs apparently lost control of the vehicle she was driving, went off the roadway and struck some trees, according to Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.

Longs duo plead guilty to counterfeiting
United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated today that Asia Shanniece Currie, age 19, and Cedric Willie Bellamy, age 26, both of Longs, South Carolina, pled guilty today in federal court in Florence, to conspiracy to make, possess, and pass counterfeit Federal Reserve Notes, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371.
