Like I said yesterday, The Adirondacks is bear country. And just yesterday after I posted about my hunt for libraries , I stumbled upon this bear, right outside the Long Lake Library, located in Long Lake, NY.
At the turn of the 20th century, east central Alberta enjoyed its highest influx of Ukrainian settlers.
It may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of vacationing in the Adirondacks, but frankly that's part of Long Lake's charm.
