It's about time. No competition for bling bling in he clothing arena. Maybe the students can focus on on the reason they go to school.. Puts the adults in charge. All that nonsense about how it will take away from individuality is a crock.

I am really glad the LAUSD is taking steps to implement uniforms at ALL LAUSD schools. There is a sense of unity and equality that comes with using uniforms. There are students who are not fortunate enough to wear name brand clothes, shoes, etc., leaving them feeling inferior to others. I think if everyone is dressed the same, they have a better chance at focusing on studying and not trying to look better than the next person or struggling to fit in. Way to go LAUSD, it's time to step it up for our children!!!
