Jury convicts Bustos in 2013 assault, burglary

A Morgan County District Court jury convicted Cassandra Bustos, 34, Fort Morgan, of felony first-degree burglary and misdemeanor third-degree assault in connection with an altercation in June 2013 in Brush that led to a stabbing death District Court Judge Douglas Vannoy accepted the jury's verdict March 4 after a five-day trial.
