My, this is interesting stuff! How many of the good folks who were crawling all over the place to "defend" the Kohr's property rights against ED will now come forward to attempt to halt this land grab?
As the station owner states, and he should know because he sees the traffic conditions there every day, a wider road is not needed. Well, not now anyway. Does that station owner realize he's soon to become toast, because that widening is meant to support a whole new generation of ticky-tack strip mall trash that some local developer will propose just as soon as all the little shops along that stretch are driven out of business because of all the construction disruption?
Moreover, check where the widening ends. Right at the new road (Cinema Dr.) the Twp. bent over backwards to help Tim Pasch get put in, that routes traffic through HIS development (such as it is or isn't as he was caught there with myriad DEP violations [allegedly] and right by the doors of the elderly complex back by Eastern Blvd. Extended. So, then where do these drivers get to go? If they are eastbound, they get to clog up the short length of road to a four-way stop sign. If they are westbound, I guess they get lucky for a bit before getting clogged at Eastern and Rte. 24. If they stay on Market, the drivers get pinched back to one lane eastbound through the REAL mess the State and the Township let Pasch construct there at the Pleasant Acres/ Locust Grove Rd. maze. Well done folks! More congestion to refill a stretch of highway no one needs to have widened except the developers of the future. Way to consider your citizens (taxpayers)!

Daily Horoscope for November 29

Sagittarius

Pay attention to your health as the Moon enters Taurus and your sixth house of health and service today; it might be time for a check up. With Neptune and Jupiter in your third house, nervous tension could be leading you into bad habits that will undermine your health. If you feel stressed out, reach for your athletic shoes instead of a double martini and you'll be happy with the results.
