Residents and guests will gather at 7:45 a.m. at the Lockridge Community Center to march to the cemetery, where the flag will be raised and the national anthem will be sung.

Seniors can go to their local Seneca Area Agency on Aging meal sites and self-declare themselves eligible for "coupons" to be spent at qualifying farmers' markets.

"Right now, we are kind of in a holding pattern, so to speak," said Darren Lockridge, who is president of the squad and the Martinsville-Henry County Rescue Squad Association.
