Wilson Teens Killed In Cambria Crash

I feel horrible for the families. I'm sure these were good kids that just made a terrible mistake.

Now on to the grim task of commentary...

1)These kids were in an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ZONE. That doesn't mean speed up to the point where an accident splits your car in half. All those little elementary school kids had to see this. Luckily they weren't outside playing and nobody else was hurt or killed.

2) I don't know how or where this tradition started but save your flowers and memorials for the FAMILIES. Don't make a personal shrine to the place where their lives were snuffed out. Your crosses and flowers may seem sensitive but they keep reminding friends and family that this is the VERY SPOT where they died. How many people's front lawns have permanent memorials to remind them of the horrific accident that happened right outside? Find a better way to remember your friends. Put the same effort into comforting the living.
