Of course McCready would say that Tankleff is guilty. McCready's ego won't let him admit he's a liar who framed an innocent man.

What's bothering him is that he could have been in trouble for his actions if they decided to go after the real guilty parties.

Seems like McCready made his mind up that Marty did it and looked for evidence to support his theories. That's how investigations get fouled up. It makes it easy to make a defendant look framed.

What else is McCready going to say? He's got to protect his backside. He was a dirty cop and he's not going to admit he screwed up the case. He's also protecting Marty's half sister - the only relative who believes he's guilty. If McCready were to admit he screwed up, she might be forced to give Marty his half of their parents' inheritance. Mistretta & McCready deserve each other

I really got a laught out of his comment concerning being a relative of a murderer victim and wanting McShady on the case. That was all to comical of a comment. I bet the late Tankleffs are resting in peace while thier murderers walk free and spend thier ill gotten gains. They should go and haunt McCreapy.

Of course he's going to continue to malign that poor man. What is he going to say? "Yeah, I really screwed up because of my monstrous arrogance, and because of that a young man not only had to deal with the loss of his family, but lose many many many prime years of his life as well as his innocent reputation. Or perhaps he really believes he is not capable of making an error. Just goes to show that people with huge egos not only can be annoying, but dangerous as well. Hope he prays at night for forgiveness.
