The spring still gushes, the mountain beckoning to energetic youth to climb - and just like in the 1880s, the tasty barbecue continues to be on sale.

Two more have been arrested in connection with a rash of church break-ins in Lexington County according to the sheriff's department.

A break-in at a church could land three suspected burglars in prison for the next 20 years.

Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster and Lexington County Sheriff James Metts announced Friday that a joint task force between the two agencies was successful in capturing three suspects sought in connection with a series of burglaries of churches in Newberry and Lexington counties.

Night vision surveillance photos led to Thursday's arrests of two suspects in a recent Lexington County church burglary and vandalism, the Lexington County Sheriff's Department said.

Newberry County authorities continue to search for a church burglar. Many churches are being extra careful because of the string of burglaries, and investigators say they're baffled.

A vehicle fire on I-26 is slowing down traffic. Sheriff Lee Foster tells WIS News 10 a tractor trailer carrying 43,000 pounds of paper caught fire just before 9 am Sunday.
