Investors dump Boston Scientific after dimmed outlook

Shares of Natick, Mass.-based Boston Scientific are off more than 15 percent this afternoon after the company cut its earnings guidance and reported weak third quarter sales.

Downward pressure on prices? I'd sure like to know who saw cheaper prices from anyone associated with the medical industry. Certainly not those of us paying for it with our monthly insurance premiums.

If we had a single payer system in this country, no one would have to worry about whether this company's sales were down or up. They would have a negotiated contract with the government that would guarantee specific profit margins (enough for all to be compensated at appropriate levels) and a specific number of jobs.

Oops...I should have started that last paragraph out as: When we have a single payer system...

Just wait until te new health care plan sets in.

Boston, Medtronic, St Jude etc etc will be tanking just like the economy is now!!

You ain't seen nothing yet!!
