Lisbon man gets 3 years for using son's Social Security number to hide income, get benefits

A Lisbon man who used his 7-year-old son's Social Security number to hide his income while receiving other benefits was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court to four years in prison.

Firefighters douse Lisbon Street fire in Lewiston

Lewiston and Lisbon firefighters resonded to a structure fire at 379 Lisbon St. just after 3 p.m. Tuesday The Lisbon truck was in Lewiston helping with the Blake Street fire investigation and pulled away to respond to the Lisbon Street fire.

Lisbon dam delayed while salmon group studies, stabilizes banks

An estimated $300,000 worth of repairs to the upper dam on the Sabattus River may be on hold but crews working for the Atlantic Salmon Federation should be working on the river this summer, shoring up the stream-side.
