Teen charged in more burglaries

A teen who was arrested Aug. 9 in the burglary of the Hitters Coop on Bethlehem Pike in Hatfield Township was charged Monday with a second burglary and two attempted burglaries.

Walmart gets OK for expansion

The Walmart in Hilltown is about to be supersized. Supervisors last week gave final approval to an 87,161-square-foot expansion of the store in the Hilltown Crossings Shopping Center off Route 309.

Fees waived for fire company

Hilltown agreed Monday night to waive about $2,200 in building permit fees for the reconstruction of a fire station on Hilltown Pike.The decision came about three months after township supervisors agreed to donate $9,000 during three years to help the Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Co.
