A Lettsworth man died early Sunday after his car left the roadway and struck a tree in Pointe Coupee Parish, State Police Troop A spokesman Johnnie Brown said in a news release.

At 2:13 AM, on Sunday, June 15, 2008, Louisiana State Police - Troop A began investigating a one vehicle fatality.
