Motorcycle crash kills man
A Lenoir man was killed Friday night in a motorcycle crash along U.S. 64/N.C. 90 in eastern Caldwell County .

So, are you saying that it's OK for carless drivers to run over motorcyclists? They have as much right to drive on our highways as you do and drivers should pay more attention and they might not kill innocent cyclists! I personally knew the man who was killed and have known him for most of my life. He was a wonderful person and did not deserve to die. You should have respect for other motorists, even cyclists!

What: The post you were responding to was ridiculous. Don't let people who say things like that have an effect on you. Judgment will come to people like that for trivializing the pain and suffering of other people and making remarks such as that.

I think you are right. Despite how much aggravation it is and how they slow us down, bicycles, schooters, and motorcycles are becoming more popular on our roads. They all save money on gas, as well as are probably more healthy to use, except for drivers who disrespect them being on the road. Another thing though, it needs to be addressed that at nigt people who ride or walk should not wear dark clothings. A driver can't see them. It's not out of disrespect, but out of safety that all people that walk or ride bicycles at night should wear light color or reflective clothing. |

Just so sad.
I knew this good man for over 18 years. He was a very good father of the last time i checked 8 children. Very hard worker. May God bless him, yet another life cut short due to motorcycle accidents. RIP Tom H HJ |

Tommy was a good person, I've known him for 20+ years. He was a hard worker, He was a Boy Scout leader for 10 years. He will be surely missed. RIP
