The Leitchfield Fire Department responded to a truck that caught fire on the William H. Thomason Byway at around 3:10 p.m. on Thursday, May 9. A responding Leitchfield firefighter received a cut above his eye and was treated by Grayson County Emergency Medical Services, according to 2nd Assistant Fire Chief Tony King.

LEITCHFIELD, KY A fire engulfed a mobile home with seven people inside. Three of them didn't make it out alive, including a one-year-old baby.

Leitchfield Second Assistant Fire Chief Tony King says two men and a child were killed in the fire that broke out Sunday night, and two other adults and two children escaped.

The fire broke out around 11 p.m. Sunday at a home on Vanmeter Lane in Leitchfield.
