May 17, 2013 - LEESBURG, Va. -- Come celebrate the event that launched Great Country Farms 20 years ago.

Leesburg Town Council members wrangled Tuesday night over the best way to proceed with changes along King Street downtown that offer the best bang for the buck.

For the 12 th consecutive year, the Leesburg Town Council and the Leesburg Economic Development Commission recognized town business businesses with the Leesburg Business Awards, presenting the awards during a ceremony Wednesday attended by nearly 300 people.

Mayor Kristen Umstattd and members of the the Leesburg Town Council joined Del. Randy Minchew , Supervisor Ken Reid and other town officials for a beer at Leesburg Brewing Company , which just opened on Loudoun Street in downtown Leesburg.

Thursday is the 8th Annual Dulles Greenway Drive for Charity.
