NORTHAMPTON - It might never become a tourist draw like the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, but the people of Leeds are determined to spruce up the Hotel Bridge so they can at least walk across it.

DEERFIELD - Deerfield Selectmen have unanimously selected Wendy L. Foxmyn, 58, to serve as town administrator until a permanent replacement is found to replace Bernie Kubiak, who plans to retire at the end of June.

The City Clerk is advising the public that the deadline for registering to vote in the April 30 special state primary is 8 p.m., Wednesday.

The School Committee will be even busier interviewing candidates for administrative positions in the School Department as Northampton High School Principal Nancy Athas has announced her retirement and Leeds Elementary School Principal Joseph Smith says he is leaving his post to seek new challenges.
