I was born in Bonne terre hospital and lived in Leadwood,Mo till i went into the service on 1/23/1968. It was a great place to live then. It seems that over the years it has gone down hill. I still come there at times and still call it my HomeTown when asked where i'm from. Where i live (Palm Beach County Florida)that's asked a lot. I still read the newspaper there online everyday to see what's going on there. There needs to be a change with the police there and also city hall it seems. Why not let the county take over Leadwood? It would make Leadwood a better place to live. If I had the time I would move back to Leadwood and work with the county and city for a take over of Leadwood by the county as i have seen how great it works here in Palm Beach County Florida as that's what my town did. We get better services from the County than we had with our town. Someone there needs to get it started.From Palm Beach, Fl have a great day.
