how incompetent are the cops in this city. it seems like they can just run around and do whatever they want. just watch that dumbass cop won't even get punished for that. i've said it once and i'll say it again lawton is full of corrupt incompetent police officers and judges.

No matter if he is a great cop or not, I am certain he did not mean to hit this girl with his car. Accidents do happen and I hope that both of you posters are perfect and never make a mistake.

My prayers are with this girl for a speedy recovery and to give her family the strength they need to pull her through.

The girl shouldn't have been walking in the middle of the road. Heard she walked in front of the car to miss a mud puddle. Can't just blame the cop.

Thank you 'Lawton citizen'... I spoke with 2 people who witnessed the accident and say the girl was in the middle of the street. It certainly was not the officer's fault.

And "Wes dare" maybe you should learn to spell before you talk about other people not being "smart enough." .. ah hem "petrolmen"

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
