An 11-year-old boy who was shot in his home Friday near Lawson, Mo., remained hospitalized Tuesday, but his condition was improving, according to a news release from the Ray County Sheriff's Department.

Ray County 911 Director Scott Enss told the county 911 board that Missouri's Director of Information Security and his staff will be on site to conduct an audit of the county's 911 system on June 15.
