Hell has a special place for those who take the life of a child especially when done for something as idotic as a beer run. May the sweet little angel rest in peace and may her mother also find peace. Too bad the prison system in New Mexico isn't what it was ten years ago when child killers, rapist and pedophiles were reviled and duly punished by fellow inmates.

Yeah honestly the venue did need to be changed--now there are grounds for appeal. Don't know what the judge was thinking on this decision--oh yeah, he wasn't. Hey Martinez--I do believe you are using this as leverage for your political future. Hope it bites you in your A$$.

Good to hear you have already got him convicted and sentenced. You've saved the taxpayers some serious change.

The media coverage has been just as great in his own home town. Maybe even more so in the that area than here.

To notsofast. is it a lie that he left his child in a clothes hamper and went to get beer? there does not seen to be much else to the case like someone else to blame. ya seems pretty cut an dry that he did something extremely selfish and stupid that led to the death of his child. maybe if he had killed the child in a car accident while drunk driving on his way to get beer that it would be more clear that he was responsible.

I hope this jerk gets what he deserves. I don't think it would matter if he got tried someplace else, he is going to pay for what he did. I just pray for that baby's mom and family having to relive this via the trial. God Bless you!!
