A woman and her former brother-in-law who were killed during a domestic dispute Wednesday night in northern Garrard County were identified Thursday.
Lynda Faust, 45, of Lancaster, died after she was shot by her former brother-in-law, Randy Faust, 47, also of Lancaster, Kentucky State Police said.
On Thursday, Trooper Chris Lanham said Randy Faust died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
The woman's 17-year-old daughter barricaded herself under her bed in her bedroom on Wednesday and called 911, Lanham said. Read more
