Route 64 collision leaves two injured
WALKER TOWNSHIP -- Two people were transported to the hospital, one with critical injuries, after a two-car crash on Route 64 in Walker Township Sunday night.
The accident happened just before 5:30 p.m. when the driver of a white four-door 2001 Chevy auto, 23-year-old Mark Mohan, of Lamar, heading north on Route 64 lost control in rainy conditions and spun on the wet road, according to state police Trooper Thomas Hertlein.
He said Mohan crossed the center line and struck a black four-door 2007 Ford sedan, driven by 43-year-old Gary Wasson, of Jersey Shore. Wasson was heading south. Read more
