Radar indicated a possible tornado about 12 miles northeast of Albertville. The warning continues until 11:30 a.m. --- 11:10 a.m.: The National Weather Service has canceled the tornado warning for Marshall and DeKalb counties.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for DeKalb County on Sunday until 9:45 p.m. At 8:43 p.m., NWS radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado in Marshall County moving east at 35 mph.
City moves forward with animal plans
Fort Payne seems ready to partner with the DeKalb County Commission, along with the other municipalities in DeKalb County, to fund the new animal shelter.
