A Gig Harbor man is dead and a woman is hospitalized in critical condition after their first date went horribly awry, Pierce County sheriff's officials said. Investigators say it appears the 47-year-old Port Orchard woman ran over her date in his truck before crashing the truck down an embankment in Lakebay, said Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
