Poor water quality closes third Suffolk beach

Wow, isn't it great the county found the only beaches with this problem and closed then to safeguard the public....

Are you kidding? When is this stinkin' county going to get serious about eliminating the pollution sources?

Tanner Park is always closed due to bacteria maybe they should of thought about that before they built the dock the prevents the water to flow in and out!!

Bad water my butt!!!!, I have lived in front of Tanner for 4 decades, and what it boils down to (pardon the pun), is that Steve Baloney and his cronies don't want to pay for Life Guards and the Clean up of the Seaweed but they dont mind charging each car that Parks there $30.00 to get in to the beach, and do what,? spend money in the over priced Beach Hut, Ha,Ha, please give us a break, and that is the reason why they put NO PARKING signs all over the North Side of the park, Kerrigan R.D., Baylawn Ave, Jervis Ave, Harding Rd, and on every street in the Amity Harbor, so thet people that dont want or cant afford to pay the $30.00 to get in the beach cant park on the streets with out getting to ticket. This is just a example of more shamefull political extortion tacktics on how the T.O.B. milks money out of the Taxes Payers, sickening isnt it. I guess they think we are all just idiots, they pulled the same nonsense last summer. If they close the Beach they should not charge people $30.00 to go there for the day, Im sorry but its just not fair or right.

once again its crooked politicians at their best and greediest. charging 30.00 to go to a ghetto bath tub!! thats all it is. although it is cheaper to by the ghetto beach pass for 25.00 and the people can bathe in the water the whole summer!!

Guess what! They finally put life guards at Tanner park, they must have been gettig alot of complaints about this B.S. Hey Bob you know that Tanner park is named after women who was very rich and donated alot of mony to the T.O.B. to help make parks and such, apon her death she had left a huge chuck of money to the T.O.B. and it was her wish that all the (millions) she left were to be DONATED to the T.O.B. for the betterment and beautification of Tanner park and some other parks, witch it was, but dont you just love how Steve Baloney forgets to mention her (and that fact) in any of of his boosts when he talks about how HE is so wonderfull for doing all this work to the parks and sucking up all the credit, oh God NO, Baloney wont talk about that because if the Tax payers found out most of the money to fix up the park was donated, well then they might wonder why thier Taxes went up, as the park beatification was another excuse for Boloney to raise our Taxes, every body thinks thier paying for the Parks with thier Tax increase when most of that money was a donataion, so now hes Taxing Taxes payers on public donations!!!, Guess he really pulled the wool over our eyes with that one, sneaky arent they. So convenient how the T.O.B. forgot to tell us about Ms Tanners generous donation, ha, shes probably rolling over in her grave.
