Putnam Valley engineer whose work was used in The Manhattan Project is dead
“He didn't realize he was working on the project and already serving in the Army.”
A funeral will be held tomorrow for longtime resident Alois Kral, an engineer whose work was used by The Manhattan Project, the team of World War II scientists who developed the nuclear bomb. via The Journal News
