Voters To Consider School Bond Referendums
Voters in the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop School District decide a bond referendum Tuesday.
Two questions are on the ballot. One involves replacing boilers in all three schools, as well as adding new locker rooms at the high school, adding a new band room and remodeling the theater.
The total cost of question one would be just over $4 million.
The second question asks voters to fund improvements to school entrances and loading zones -- at a cost of just under $1.3 million. Question two can only be approved if question one passes. Read more
