"Washington Post-ABC News Poll that most Americans favor a public option (government run) health plan." That poll indicated 27% of Americans favored a government plan, and the Dems were quick to jump all over it. When the facts came out, it was told that they polled 13% more democrats, so the results were skewed. It's pretty easy to get polls to answer how one wants them, just ask the right question to the right (or left in this case) people.
Rassmusen, the historically most accurate polling indicates almost the opposite.

I'm afraid mr. Mortenson doesn't quite understand the letter he is responding to. Property taxes EVERYWHERE in the state have risen as a direct result of Pawlentys policies. Unfortunately property taxes are regressive and are not based on ability to pay. If our fine Governor would tax progressively none of us would have seen our property taxes raise as our property values lower. T. Paw looks like a genius for not personally raising taxes while those least able to pay them face a heavier burden due to local governments having to find a way to pay his bills.
These other cities he speaks of also have seen their property taxes raised to cover the states financial shortfall.
