The best way to revamp the square is to follow a master plan from start to finish, agreed 10 committee members last week at a Macon County Revitalization, Inc., meeting at Lafayette City Hall.

Maybe you could get some idea's from the ones that pushed for the welcome center,god knows that was a great idea!Boy thats gonna come in handy sometime i'm sure,that had to be some of the best money ever spent,not to mention we have created someones grandmother a job babbysitting that building all day.

Or maybe a civic center,something everyone would use,including our children,and actually something that would creat a few jobs,do the community a service,and make money for the county,instead of a welcome center that serves no purpose that i'm aware of,except a negative cash flow,and has created a job for whoever is babysitting that bldg.

macon county is not known for living up to its promises. ever.

from the constituent side or the corporate side:

ask nestle or ask the voting public.

either way county screws it over for everyone.
