Labadieville man booked in shooting incident outside home
A 22-year-old Labadieville man was booked Thursday on counts of attempted second degree murder after an incident this past Sunday, when he allegedly fired shots at people outside their home, according to Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack.
Assumptions schools placed on lockdown during search Wednesday for shooting witness
Five public schools in Assumption Parish were put under a lockdown for about a half-hour Wednesday after sheriff's deputies learned a man possibly connected to an early morning shooting in Houma might have been driving in the area.
