I am very self motivated... but no one in this day and age should have to go hungry.

No one in this day and age goes hungry unless they choose to. There are plenty of places to go. Our Federal Government, churches, organizations.......... Our public schools don't have to be one of them. Every parent is responsible for their own children. I took peanut butter sandwiches plenty of times in my lunch. You need to get real.

Correction... every parent is SUPPOSED to be responsible for their own children.

I am very real.

I don't have a kid... and if I did I would not talk about him/her here.

I have people who wish me ill who would like nothing better than to hurt someone I care about.

AGREE! Even in this economy people can find jobs, and take care of their kids. Those who choose not to work and "live off of the system" can kiss my ass. I do not want to see anyone starve child or adult, but I as well as alot more are tired of seeing people abuse the system. Get a job, quit using excuses and man up and take care of your kids...

Well... as I have no daughter... that would be impossible.

Like I said in my last post... even if I did have a daughter... I would not talk about her on a public forum.

I have racist and radical enemies that read my posts... and would like nothing better than to hurt someone I cared about.

I have a job...I do not live off of the system...and I appreciate the Nutrition program helping to make sure my child eats a well balanced meal during the day! I am part of the working poor and living without health insurance. Because I work, I do not qualify for alot of the programs offered and I am okay with that. I live within my means and do not feel like a moocher because of it. We have use the reduced lunch price for years and will continue to appreciate it for as long as it is offered to us.

I think all children should be provided with a free breakfast and lunch.

The money that would be saved from not having a register, a person to run it and an accountant and the expense of managing the free lunch program itself would all just about pay for it.
