The City of La Plata, Missouri will be holding public election on April 8th, 2008. Three positions for the La Plata R-II School Board are up for the said election. Those filing for the vacant seats are Cheryl Curtis, Kevin Pipes, Norine Eitel, Matt Belt, Mike Kimmel. The seats open are those of Norine Eitel, Matt Belt and Becky Furman. Furman will not be seeking another term.
