Nobody can take away your human rights and freedoms! This is your human right #30 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Some of the rights and freedoms mentioned in my earlier articles are We Are All Born Free and Equal, The Right to Play, Freedom of Thought, Freedom of Expression, The Right to a Fair Trial, , No Torture, No Slavery, No Unfair Detainment and Our Responsibilities (we have a duty to other people to protect their rights and freedoms too).
These are just some of the thirty human rights. Readers: Have you been teaching these to others? Have you become a changed person now knowing your human rights?
They have changed lives for the better. How, do you really apply #29—Our Responsibilities—how about applying and teaching human rights because it is necessary. You can teach human rights because every-day violations of human rights are occurring to honest people—stabbings, shootings, drownings, war, famine, torture, etc. Teach human rights because children need to know how to resolve things peacefully in their lives. They become valuable advocates for peace. This is what the Youth for Human Rights International program results in. These kids will be our leaders. It is up to us to change the world for the better and stand up for our human rights.
“Human rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream.” said a wise Humanitarian, L. Ron Hubbard.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was created after World War II to prevent the violations of human rights that happened in that war from ever happening again. Each of these 30 rights has significance to all of us because they protect us from inconsiderate or destructive people who wish to discriminate against us or cause us harm. Each right is just as important as the next.

Human Rights Must Be Made A Fact
Martin Luther King once said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” We have all experienced injustice, which is why we must teach human rights to teens, young and old adults alike, in the San Diego County. It doesn’t matter how old you are, really, to know your human rights so you are not a victim of injustice. But what are human rights? What are rights, for that matter? Rights are things you are allowed to be, to do or to have. Every person is entitled to certain rights simply because they are a human being.
For instance, you are allowed to be a writer, a musician, a doctor, a teacher, etc. You get the idea?
