Area schools resume classes
A majority of area schools were back in session today after an ice storm canceled classes for several days, but not everyone had bus service.
Traffic flowing easier
The icy roads that kept Denton County and North Texas motorists confined to their homes through the weekend and hindered traffic should completely clear up by Wednesday, National Weather Service meteorologists predict.
Les Cockrell: Marines, soldiers team for toy drive at mall
Toy collection sites at the mall will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Service members and civilian volunteers will be posted at each mall entrance collecting toys and cash donations.
