Area post offices closing early July 3
The Harmony, Brazil and Knightsville Post Offices will close at noon Friday, July 3, 2009, to enable retail employees to spend more time with their families.
Two people were taken to the hospital because of injuries sustained during this two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon.

Three juveniles reported missing found in early-morning hours
Law enforcement officers were busy looking for three reported missing juveniles the first evening after school let out Thursday and into early Friday morning.
Boil order could last until Friday
A break in an 18-inch water main near the well fields in Putnam County has Brazil water customers, including those in Carbon, Center Point, Harmony and Knightsville under a boil order for the time being.
There is another boil order in effect for Brazil. A boil order is in effect until further notice for water customers living in Brazil, Ind.
