First Lake Toho project approved

The first of six massive developments along the eastern shore of Lake Tohopekaliga in Osceola County was approved unanimously by county commissioners Monday night.

You wonder who is really in charge when you see commissioners like Ken Smith begging the developers for a few more feet of buffer. "What can you give me" and asking for 100 feet and then thanking them for 20 feet. It's sad to see the commissioners begging the developers and it's like the tail wagging the dog and they have no shame. The developer should be asking the commissioners what they will approve. It's sad to see all the commissioners at the beckon call of developers but it's business as usual in Osceola County. We need to supply five pillows to cushion the knees of each commissioner

The commissioners will do a rain dance and that will take care of everything. They are good at dancing since they have been dancing around every objection to every development in this county for years. Dancing is their specialty. I guess Shipley could call them a qualified expert in dancing.
