3 agencies help rescue dog who falls in NY well

Full story: The Associated Press

Authorities have rescued a black Labrador named Mindy who fell into an approximately 8-foot-deep well on Long Island. Police say it took nearly two hours and three agencies to fetch the 14-year-old dog from the well in Kings Park on Sunday. They say she was running in the yard when she fell into the old well. Besides the Suffolk County police, members of the Commack Fire Department Technical Rescue and the Kings Park Fire Department Heavy Rescue also helped avert a likely canine calamity.

Good news. Hopefully that well gets closed up so Mindy won't fall in again.

LOL.... We all owe thanks to our volunteer FD's for serving us and our canine friends when in danger.
Hope Mindy is still doing fine.
