I just want to share my story.. This man never actually tried to have sex with me.. But, I was young when I went to VBS and he was always telling me he had a crush on me and there is a 15 year difference between us. Even to this day if I would see this man he would give me the creeps and I would try and avoid his as much as possible. I hope and pray that he has not done anything to harm any child what so ever. And I hope that if this is true, he will get the full punishment. Its sad that you try and teach your kids the right way in life.. And then you have people like him in the churches.

where was you in church? That is aweful, if it is true maybe you should contact Trooper Moore, and give him a statement, it may help them put him away.

did this guy work for the child support office...i swear i think he did...although im not sure...but he looks soo familiar to me as someone that worked in some kinda office that i was in like that...this is horrible..what has come of this place?

no this man is not like that ppl i knwo better then all of this come on the man didnt do it we all know so does the law what was sent on his comp and what that girl had were 2 diff things so he is getting out when it goes to court

I would rather stay out of all of this. Like I said in my previous post he never said anything about sex etc. I do hope that if this is the truth about what he has done, it will all come out in the end. My prayers are with the families of both parties. This has to be a hard time.

what i do not understand is on myspace you can block someone from contacting you. why didn't the 17 year old just block him && not speak to him anymore? because what right does a 17 year old have talking to someone his age anyways. that is just my personal opinion on it.

He's a youth pastor, alot of his kids are his friends on myspace. I have personally known him since he moved over here from philadelphia I was 13 so he was my youth pastor for a few years. I am now in my early 20's. He never acted out of the way or quote "creepy" while I was attending that church. He was a very funny friendly guy more like a big kid himself. I havent run into him but on a few occasion in the last few years. Although I do hear from him on myspace every so often. More so since they added IM. I will say he did make me feel slightly uncomfortable when he was bragging on how beautiful of a young woman I've become and a few other things in that context. He did tell me about rumors he'd heard of him being a pervert etc. It made him feel really bad and he told me if I ever made him feel uncomfortable to tell him. Maybe I should have about the whole picture thing. I really believe he's innocent I don't think he would do something so stupid that he knew would come back to bite him in the ass. And he is in church an Im sure it would weigh heavily on his conscious. I can't even begin to imagene the embaressment he, his family, and the church must feel. I trully feel bad for the guy. But no matter what anyone says you are innocent until proven guilty.

First and foremost I think he is a great guy. I think this is a bunch of bull.
Your opinion it's ok for teachers cops, principals and coaches any older man to date girls 16 and under and nothing is said or done about it. But you let a man like Steve talk to some !7 year old on the computer and it's a big crime.
Tell me what is the difference?
Mr. Reeves runs a great missionary church and does more for kids around this area than any. Steve is a big part of this, I'm sure some one has had this set-up. Who knows what the girl said to get this started.

ur right no man should be folling with a underage girl i think all of them should be put in jail but no matter what this girl said to get this started this said christian man should in no way be talking inapporpriately to any under age girl dont u think hell a true christian man like u say he is should not be talking to grown woman in a sexual way aint they supposed to wait till they are married for that and if steve and mr reeves was so close then why is his familey saying mr reeves was harrising him and set him care to explain that since u know so much

No matter what way you look at it HE'S WRONG for talking ANYTHING sexual to a MINOR or any woman for that matter!! I think he deserves every day in jail he is sentenced. This man was supposed to be a christain, therefor he was suppose to let his light shine & set an example for children & ALL others. Him talking about sexual acts with a minor, he deserves to be put away for a LONG time and NEVER be allowed around ANY children!!
As far as Mr. Reeves "harassing" him, I seriously doubt that. Even if he was set up, the police said that Steve was "fully aware of her age." So there ya go, if he knew she was only 17, he wouldn't have been talking this way to a minor unless he is a perv!!!

I'm sorry, but I do not believe any of the crap being said about Steve. I choose to believe in our justice system. Innocent Until PROVEN guilty. I think this is all a fabrication. Any one who REALLY knows Steve KNOWS he is a great guy and would do anything for anyone.

Regardless of what the girl may have said, he is an ADULT and she is 17, which in my opinion is still a CHILD. This guy could be the best person in the world for all I know but the devil has a way of getting to all of us, even the preachers. Some of these men need to wake up and start using their brain to think with.
