Area residents compete at Iowa State Fair

Bruce Whitaker of Keosauqua won first place for his dry red flight 1 under the grape wines division, second place for his sweet red and second and third places for his homegrown grape sweet flight 2 in the oenology competition judged prior to the 2009 Iowa State Fair.
