My goodness--My arse itches too--could someone scratch it? Tickets, fines and
moronic laws. By the way SAPD tickets crape like this. San Anselmo needs
an audit. Beyond a speed trap; I think they are illegally giving away free
overnight parking passes to their family and friends. I need to know everyone
who got a permit? I thought it was public information, but they say different.
God Bless the poor.

IF you call SAPD up and say you are from out of town and didn't know that you could not park on the street at like 9pm they will tell you they will just skip ticketing the street you are parked on. LOL

since bike riders are freeloading and not paying registration fees or gas taxes to use the roads for free I applaude efforts to collect these kind of fines from them

Oh no, the elitest bicycling community being held to obeying the law? Heaven forbid this! How will they be able to ride to Starbucks for their manly chai tea with soy milk?

Can I request a partial refund from the DMV. I paid full registration on my car and it sits at home almost every day. By the way, it is not just registration and gas taxes that pay for the roads.

Perhaps the answer is registration. It should be based on how much damage the vehicle can do to roads. Maybe a registration fee based on the weight of the vehicle. How does a dollar a pound sound to you?

When are the elitist drivers going to be held to obeying the law. I drive 65 on the freeway and cars fly by me all the time. I don't think I have ever seen a car come to a complete stop at a stop sign if another vehicle is not there at the same time. I can't count the number of time I've almost been hit crossing in a crosswalk with a green light.

Remember, Glass houses and all that.

Stinking bike riders need to obey the laws, stop riding your god damned bike in the crosswalks. You are a pedestrian or a vehicle, you can't be both. You need to ride on the right side of the road and not oppose traffic. You need to stay the hell off the sidewalk (unless you are a child). Go find a bike path, you are too vulnerable to ride with cars and especially trucks.

Remember the golden rule....the rule of lugnuts--he who has the most, generally wins. It's unfortunate that folks like you will be so hard headed to stick to those kind of priciples, as you're being scraped off the roadway. Aren't you aware of how lousy drivers are these days, with cell phones, texting, inattention?

Funny! I read my response a couple of times. I don't see anything "fired up" about it. I simply responded to the registration/tax complaint. I even offered a solution. I have my $20 dollars and will hand it over now.

I forgot to add cell phone/texting to my list of elitist drivers law breaking. Thanks!
And when they stop installing turn signals on cars?

Helmet, headlight and tail light all in use just this morning. I also stop at stoplights/signs. I do my best to obey the rules of the road. There are bad cyclists, but I try not to be one of them.

You, my good man, are the exact reason I chose the name Pot Smoking Moronite. Quite frankly, you're boring me. It is apparent we cannot have a logical and rationale conversation, because of your inability to understand and think clearly. Good day to you sir.

I don't touch the stuff. I have yet to see you make a logical point in this conversation. At least point out the flaws in my thinking. Educate me. I have an inquisitive mind.

whats next, you need a light to walk at night? Way to much power by the police if you ask me...Our protection for the weak minded has turned into our own personal prison of rules and regulations...We are so worried about "somebody", "anybody" getting hurt we forget to mind our own business and then get hurt ourselves....

Daily Horoscope for January 1

Libra

Happy New Year, Libra!. How's that poor old body feeling this morning?! If you're having a gathering, include casual acquaintances or newcomers as if they were one of the family. You're a real social animal and you know how to put people at their ease. This is a wonderful talent: not only do you have a network of friends and social contacts, as well as business ones, but you have the ability to bring others together. Perhaps you should start a dating agency this year!
