Preserving for the future
There are about 500 Siberian tigers in the wild today. The best guess for Randall Lineback cattle is around 200.

It's good to see the Randall breed and other rare livestock breeds getting some attention. It seems like Tilly Foster will be a good venue.
To expand on a couple of points, the Randall breed is growing, and now numbers closer to 400. Also, while "Randall Lineback" is one of the names tried out in the past, the present and officially correct name of the breed is simply "Randall". The "Lineback" was dropped in the 1990's as it created confusion with American Linebacks and other lineback patterned cattle breeds. This is explained further on the Registry's website, http://www.randallcattleregistry.org/page4.ht... |
