5-year-old dies after being pulled from lake
A 5-year-old boy found in Bixler Lake in Noble County died Sunday in a Fort Wayne hospital, according to Indiana conservation officers and the Allen County Coroner's Office.
The boy and his family were at a beach in Bixler Lake Park in Kendallville when he went missing shortly before 5 p.m. Almost immediately, he was found floating in about 5 feet of water, conservation officers said.
