Canadian CL 215 water bombers have landed at the
Kenai airport to help support the effort in fighting forest fires. They were dipatched from
Fort Smith in the Northwest Territories.

Refuge officers watch wildfire: Managers plan to let small fire continue to burn
Kenai National Wildlife Refuge managers are keeping their eyes on a small wildland fire just north of Tustumena Lake.
