At least one person is dead after a three-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle shut down part of a major highway on Monday for more than three hours.

The 73-year-old driver of a 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle was killed on C-470 just east of the Ken Caryl exit Monday when the driver of a Chrysler LHS lost control and slammed into the bike and two other cars.

One person is dead after a fatal crash on C-470 Monday afternoon. The crash happened on southeast bound C-470 near the Ken Caryl exit around 4:30 p.m. It appeared a motorcyclist was involved in the multi-vehicle crash.
